Munster Drilling supplies and installs a wide range of single and double loop PE100 SDR11 collectors, available in OD32 and OD40 in coil depths of 90mtr, 100mtr, 120mtr, 150mtr, 165mtr, 180mtr, 200mtr and 220mtr.
Transfer of the Earth's Energy
Geothermal Exchange relies primarily on the earth's natural, relatively constant thermal temperature to heat, cool and provide hot water for a single family home, multi-family home or business. A Geothermal Exchange system delivers maximum year-round comfort with minimal environmental impact. It reduces greenhouse gas emissions and significantly reduces our dependence on fossil fuels. A Geothermal Exchange system will help keep our skies blue and our planet green.
Who Can Benefit?
Geothermal Exchange systems are found in all types of buildings from luxury and middle-class homes, community homes, businesses, schools and etc. You don't need a new home to have a Geothermal Exchange system - simply have an evaluation of your current system by a qualified contractor for retrofitting ideas. In addition to heating and cooling your home, Geothermal Exchange can also provide a home or building with hot water. In the summer, when the exchange system is in the cooling cycle, excess heat that would otherwise be expelled back into the ground is stored providing you with free hot water, overall reducing the amount of electricity or gas consumed by your hot water heater year round.

Geothermal Drilling FAQ
-
What is geothermal drilling?
Geothermal drilling is an environmentally sustainable heating solution. It involves drilling into the ground to harness the heat of the earth. Geothermal heat pumps then pump this heat into a property. This produces sustainable and environmentally friendly heating.

How deep do you need to drill for geothermal drilling?
As a very rough rule of thumb, geothermal drilling needs trenches at least four feet deep. Some layouts use two pipes. One of these pipes is buried six feet deep, and the other is buried four feet deep.
However, another layout has both pipes buried close together down about five feet. We’ll access the proper layout for your property’s heating needs.
